Attendance winners this week are...

Great attendance leads to 
great learning and progress!

Congratulations to the three classes below who are our winners for this week - keep it up!

A big well done to this weeks winners who are:

Canada - 98.33%
Uganda - 98.97%
New Zealand - 96.55%

A huge well done the 11 classes who are all in Green Zone this week with an attendance above 96% - this is fabulous but we can do better!

Only 2 classes had Perfect Punctuality this week but this must improve!
Well done to Peru and New Zealand!

Whole school attendance for this week is:

94.97%

Whole school attendance currently stands at

 95.6%

This still does need to improve, together we can do it!

Well done everyone and thank you all for your continued support in ensuring that the
children come to school everyday and on time!

It is still important that we all work to improve our attendance. 
Please remember that our school target is 96%.

The Dojo League

The Dojo League!

The Dojo League has continued this week with lots of positive Dojos being earned - well done everyone for helping your class!

The dojo scores have been analysed and the results are in!

Reception and Key Stage 1:
A big well done to Wales, Northern Ireland, Spain, Mexico and USA who are in the overall lead of the Key Stage 1 league. Italy, are just behind them in second place, with Scotland in third place.

Key Stage 2:
A big well done to Brazil, Peru, South Africa and China who take over the overall lead of the Key Stage 2 league with India, Japan and Australia in second place and Fiji in third.

Well done to everyone for really trying to earn Dojos for their class.

Condover Hall ETA - update

Hi
News from the coach - they are getting nearer! They should be here in about 10 - 15 minutes!
Please can I ask that you wait in the Key Stage 1 playground and your child will come into the playground to find you, then go and collect their luggage, any medication and let their group leader or myself know that you are leaving.

The children have had a fabulous time at the Victorian Village and are homeward bound.

Current ETA is 5.00pm, but we will keep you updated as we know.

The children are having a great time at the Victorian Village and are busy exploring. They are leaving there at 1.30pm so are still aiming for a 5pm arrival.

We will keep you informed of their homeward journey.

Condover Hall update

The children have all had a good nights sleep. They are up and packing their bags ready to leave Condover Hall this morning to visit the Victorian Village.

They have breakfast and 8.30am and are leaving straight after.

Lots more photos will be online shortly and we will keep you informed of their day including the journey home.

Condover Hall update

The children (and staff) have had a great day!

Unfortunately the camp fire was cancelled due to the weather but instead they thoroughly enjoyed the silent disco! The children are all safely back at base and are tucked up in bed.

Breakfast is at 8.20am and they will then be leaving for the Victorian Village.

I am currently still makeing the video of today and will upload it once it is complete (this will be tonight as long as the technology does as it is meant to).

Apart from the video this will be the last update tonight. We will update you in the morning.


Condover Hall update

The children are having a great day at Condover Hall. They have completed lots of different activities including fencing, archery, high and low ropes and others. They have had burgers and chips for dinner as well as delicious doughnuts! They are currently enjoying their camp fire evening activity. They are having a fabulous time and enjoying every minute as are the staff!

The children are all having a fabulous time, they have enjoyed many different activities today and they have still got more activities to complete!

The children have had a good night and they are all fine. They are all up, breakfast was at 7.20am and then activities start at 9am. They have a number of activities to complete today, including multi vines, laser conquest, archery, fencing and low ropes. They are all having lots of fun and are looking forward to the day ahead.

Condover Hall update

All is going well at Condover Hall, the children have completed the Mini Olympics this evening and are now back at base and all safely tucked up in bed and many are asleep. They are having a fabulous time and enjoying every minute as are the staff! This will be the final update tonight.

Breakfast is at 7.20am and we will update you in the morning.

Condover Hall update

The Year 5 children are having a fabulous time. They have all completed their first activity which was one of archery, lazer quest or fencing. They have had dinner - meat balls and strawberry cheesecake.

They are now off to do their evening activity which is a Mini-Olympics.

The Year 5 children have arrived safely at Condover Hall, their bags are in their rooms and they are having a tour. They are having a wonderful time, are settling in and are all happy. They start their first activity at 3.30pm.

Weekly reminders for the week beginning 24th April 2017

It was lovely to welcome the children and families back to school last week and hear all about the holidays that had been had.

We have another busy week ahead at Clockhouse with a lot going on.

Kenya and Canada
Kenya and Canada start this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by. 
Kenya - 9am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
Canada - 2.45pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)

Reception
The Reception children (and staff) are very excited to welcome a dinosaur workshop to school on Thursday to support their learning about dinosaurs.

Year 5
We all hope that Year 5 have a fabulous time at Condover Hall. Please remember to meet your group leader in the canteen on Monday morning. The children will be departing at 10am promptly if you wish to wave them off. Updates about the trip will be on the school blog, dojo and website as well as being by the main office door.

If your child is not going to Condover Hall, please ensure that the children come to school with their swimming kit on Monday as they will be going swimming on Monday morning.

Sport
Good luck to the Year 5 and 6 Basketball team who take part in a borough competition on Thursday.

We are delighted to announce that finally we are in a position to open the fabulous facility that is our Multi Use Games Area on Friday. We will be welcoming a Paralympic to school as well as a number of local dignitaries. Look out for pictures coming your way soon!

Well done to Peru and India who will receive prizes in Achievement Assembly on Friday for having attendance above 99%!

A huge well done the 15 classes who are all in Green Zone this week with an attendance above 96% - a great achievement!

7 classes had Perfect Punctuality this week - well done everyone in England 1 and 2 (Nursery AM and PM), Northern Ireland, France, South Africa, Kenya and Fiji who have all had no children arriving late to school this week!
