Well last week was certainly a busy week for everyone at Clockhouse. Thank you to all those families that came and helped with our tree planting, a great start to developing our outside area, keep an eye out for our next project!
Do not forget that the Book Fair will be in the Key Stage 1 hall until Tuesday evening, there really are a lovely selection of books available, so if you have not yet done so please take the time to look after school on Monday or Tuesday.
Reception
The three Reception classes start 'Ready, Steady Read' mornings this Tuesday. Please come and read with your child for 10 minutes before school.
Year 5
Please do not forget that your children are off to Royal Liberty on Tuesday for Science workshops. If you are in 5AW or 5JD the children will need a packed lunch. If you have not yet sent consent forms in please do so tomorrow.
Year 3
We look forward to welcoming our Year 3 parents / carers into school on Thursday for a 'Learn with your child' morning. We hope that you find this as valuable experience as we all do.
Good luck to all the children who are involved in a number of sporting activities this week:
- The Year 5 / 6 Rugby team take part in a Six Nations competition on Wednesday afternoon;
- The Year 6 boys football play Nelmes Primary at home after school on Thursday;
- The Year 5 boys football play St. Mary's Primary at home after school on Friday.
Friday sees us leave our uniform at school to raise money for Sports Relief. For a small donation children can come to school dressed in sports wear.
Have a good week everybody!
