Clockhouse win first ever Year 3 and 4 netball match.

Yesterday Clockhouse Primary School took a group of Year 3 and 4 children to Scotts Primary School for a netball match.

The match was played in great spirit with heart passion and probably some nerves but both schools did themselves proud!

Clockhouse started the stronger of the two schools with Scotts putting on a late fight back. Luckily time ran out and Clockhouse won the game 10 - 7.

Mr Yarrow said after the game 'It is great to have the younger children out participating in sport. Sometimes with sport being so competitive, people can forget the real reason we play sport is enjoyment, development and health. The team tonight have been training hard and it was great to see them playing with smiles on their faces. As the game went on the children went from strength to strength. A massive thank you to Mrs Hickman who has worked hard with the children. Also thank you to all the parents for transporting children.'

Final Score: Clockhouse 10 - 7 Scotts

Player of the Match: Frankie R
