Clockhouse last the distance to win a close game with Crowlands

Clockhouse hosted local friends Crowlands for a tag rugby fixture. The game was a close game with both teams feeling each other in the opening encounters. As the half wore on both teams exchanged scores with Clockhouse holding a narrow lead at half time.

The second half was a faster game with Crowlands finding gaps to score but sadly for the visitors Clockhouse were capitalising on the handling errors. This proved vital in the end as Clockhouse ran out winners 9 to 6.

SQUAD: Charlie B, Charlie G, Brooke A, Sophie L, Kayleigh M, Lily S-E, Bobby I, James O, & Hayden M.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH: Hayden M

Mosaic Making in Year 6

Year 6 needed to use a lot of different skills from across the curriculum to make their very own mosaics last week.

They really do look very good.

The children loved making them and were certainly very proud of how they turned out!

Year 5 host a European Market

This term Year 5's theme has been 'European Adventure' and they have been busy learning all about different aspects of Europe and European culture.

They spent Thursday preparing lots of delicious food to be able to host their very own European Market where they were able to welcome thier families and friends.

Thanks to all those who attended, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did!

Year 3 make their own Iron Giant

Year 3's author in the spotight for this half term is Ted Hughes and they have been reading the book 'The Iron Man'. As part of their learniing they have been busy constructing their own Iron Man!

Year 6 enhance their learning at the British Museum

The Year 6 children have been learning all about the Invaders and Settlers this term through their theme Jack's Time Machine.

They had a great time at the British Museum from start to finish which included the exciting opportuntiy to get the bus and train to London!

They came back to school full of exciting facts that they have then been using to enhance their learning.

They all had a great time and their behaviour was exemplary with the adults and children receiving some lovely comments from members of the public.

Well done everyone!
