The Year 5 children are having a fabulous time. They have all completed their first activity which was one of abseiling, ticket launch, tunneling, lazer maze or multi vines. They have had dinner - chicken and rice, pasta and sauce and butter scotch angel delight or fruit.
They are now off to do their evening activity which is a giant Cluedo.
The Year 5 children have arrived safely at Condover Hall and are familiarising themselves with their new environment. They are having a wonderful time, are settling in and are all happy. They start their first activity at 3.30pm.
This year we began doing The Daily Mile. The aim of The Daily Mile is to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and well-being of our children – regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances.
The children love taking part and it is certainly good for them!
Year 6 had a great time putting their art skills to work when creating propaganda posters linked to their theme Jack's War. They used their historical knowledge and their art skills to create some great posters.
The children in Year 5 and 6 were treated to a day of handball last week when former pupils and handball experts came to visit us from Bower Park School.
The children had a great time learning a new sport which we are looking to put into our curriculum next year and it was also lovely to hear about the ex-pupils successes after leaving us.
Both the Bower Park students and the Clockhouse children were a credit to their schools. Well done everyone and thank you to Bower Park for teaching us something new!
The children from Greenland produced some fantastic art work which has been exhibited at the Queens Theatre as part of National Autism Month in conjunction with RAGS (Romford Autistic Group Support).
The children were so proud of themselves and those who chould make it enjoyed receiving their certificates from the Mayor.
