Thank you to Mr Pye and Mrs Schoolhammer for working with the squad and thank you to parents for transporting the children.

Cross Country challenges you both physically and mentally. I have always said the pupils at Clockhouse are tenacious and this just proves it. I am very proud of everyone involved!'

Future National Champions?

Before half term Clockhouse and Towers Juniors took a group of children to work closely with Bower Park Academy for a handball training / game.

Children were given the opportunity to learn the technical skill aspects of the games from Mr Baker at Bower Park whilst former Clockhouse pupils were on hand to support in micro coaching drills.

The evening was very beneficial for all parties. Clockhouse and Towers got the opportunity to learn or further develop their handball ability whilst Bower Park had the opportunity to look for the starts of the next generation.

Essex Handball coaches were also in attendance and have started to offer a club for under 12's at Bower Park on Tuesday evenings. For more information please contact Essexhurricaneshandball@hotmail.com - a number of former and current pupils currently attend.

Mr Yarrow would like to thank Mr Baker, the former Clockhouse pupils, Towers Juniors and Bower Park Academy for supporting a fun engaging event!

Fun for Year 3!

The Year 3 children had a great time at Barleylands.

They enjoyed learning about the different animals and how food gets from the field to the the fork supporting their learning about Stone Age to Iron Age. They also made some lovely pizza!

The behaviour was fantastic and they did us all proud! What fabulous Clockhouse Citizens they are!
