A busy time in Greenland

Towards to the end of the term the children had a great time learning about DNA and why it is so important. They worked so hard to make these fantastic models!

At the end of the term, Greenland were delighted to welcome their families and some school adults into Greenland to share their learning for the term as well as to help them complete some wonderful sewing.

Year 1 Cowboy and Alien Day

Year 1 had a fabulous finish to their learning about toys with a 'Toy Dress Up' Day. They enjoyed lots of different acitivites, they even did some Line Dancing and thought hard about all the learning they have done this term in order to complete their end of theme quiz!

Well done Year 1!

Year 6 Get Creative

A big well done to Mr Terry's Creative Writing group who, having written their own amazing stories, went on to present them to the whole of Year 6 last week!

They did so well and had their audience very engaged from start to finish!

Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It Celebration

Hot Chocolate with the Head!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all working to 'Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It':

Reception - Kiki K-G for the excellent effort she is making with her writing.
Year 1 - Amelia R for trying so hard in everything does and for her beautiful presentation.
Year 2 - Leani F for her fantastic reading including being a narrator.
Year 3 - Millie M for settling into school so well and being so positive about her learning.
Year 4 - Tyler L for his fabulous reading.
Year 5 - Emily C for really pushing herself out of her comfort zone and working hard in all lessons.
Year 6 - Lexie B for her amazing writing and excellent effort in all lessons.
Miss Ward - Brajen D for trying so hard with his learning.
Mrs Reinecke - Ellie W for her fantastic growth in confidence.
Mrs Savidge - Lewis C for his truly amazing home learning project.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It' this week!

We are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
