As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Hasnain R for excellent work on rhyme during circle time.
Reception - Noah C (Scotland) for trying so hard to complete his work independently.
Year 1 - Truvine B (Spain) for writing a fantastic story about Paddington Bear and applying her learning about adjectives so well.
Year 2 - Jack O (USA) for staying focussed during learning and attempting all tasks with such a positive attitude.
Year 3 - Shaney L (Peru) for overcoming her fear of jumping off the agility table in PE. She also encouraged her friend who was also hesitant.
Year 4 - Bella W (Uganda) for being creative with her writing and producing a brilliant story.
Year 5 - Olly F (China) for making amazing improvements in his presentation.
Year 6 - George G (Fiji) for his amazing efforts in the tag rugby win and for using creativity in his History work.
Greenland - Jah-Kai L for trying so hard to improve his approach to learning.
Miss Ward - Jayden A-B (Uganda) for showing great progress and determination with his writing.
Mrs Reinecke - Omar I (Italy) for fabulous independent writing and improved spellings.
Mrs Savidge - Asvigan S (Peru) for being a very responsible citizen and helping to keep our environment rubbish free and tidy.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
