We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2022-2023!
A huge congratulations to
Charlie H (New Zealand)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Charlie is a kind, caring and extremely nurturing young man. He always takes the time to check that others are ok and will then go out of his way to help them if they need it. In class he shows incredible patience and loves to be able to help and support others, encouraging them to achieve their best - just as he does. He is a wonderful model to everyone on how to treat others in the way that we would want to be treated - with kindness and respect at all times.
Holly G (New Zealand)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Holly amazes me everyday with her focus, dedication and sheer want to show her learning and skills to the best that they can be. She is a young lady who I have never seen give up on anything. She drives herself to improve everyday, greets every challenge with a smile and will persevere with difficult tasks as she knows that they may be challenging but the reward that she feels when she conquers them is amazing and a real privilege to be apart of.
Ethan B (Japan)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Ethan shows excellence in all that he does. Most recently, there has been excellent improvement in his writing and his willingness to strive for the best. In our recent engineering project, Ethan went above and beyond to ensure that he fully understood the learning and then went home to further his understanding and discuss mechanics with his dad. He is keen to know more about any topic and his enthusiasm to learn has helped him to make great progress. He is also fabulous as our class ambassador and always explains articulately the learning that is taking place in Class Japan.
Frankie B (Japan)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Frankie B has shown fantastic progress this term particularly in writing. There is a HUGE difference in his writing since the beginning of the year including his handwriting. He is using some tricky vocabulary accurately and listens well to the success criteria including all of them in his writing. I am super proud of him and his writing in particular is something he should be VERY proud of.
Phoenix K (Japan)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!
This child lacks confidence and I wish he could see how fantastic he is. His writing has been great this term and he has used some excellent vocabulary in his writing. He listens well and he contributes thoughtfully to class discussions. He has a keen interest in science and if I need any space facts, it is him I ask!
Amritpal B (Kenya)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Although only joining us this year, Amritpal has shown what an amazing Clockhouse citizen he is. He arrives everyday ready to learn and with a positive attitude. He asks questions and always shows engagement to his learning. I am so proud of what he has achieved, he is a pleasure to have within the classroom. Well done for all your hard work Amritpal!
Asvigan S (Kenya)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Since starting Year 4, Asvigan has continued to push himself in his learning, particularly his writing. He continues to take on feedback and asks what he can do next to improve. Asvigan also is a very supportive member of the class, helping others to try and do their best. Well done Asvigan, keep up the excellent work!
Harlie S (Greenland)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!
He has shown a great desire to learn in all areas of the curriculum. He asks questions and wants to improve his knowledge and skills in each subject. Most recently, in English, Harlie has applied new skills independently and then meticulously edited the punctuation and grammar. We are all so proud of him!
A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
