Good morning Clockhouse,
I hope you are well and have had another good week. It is hard to believe that we are getting closer and closer towards the end of the holiday. I know for many of you, you are looking forward to the children returning to get some normality back but also understandably it brings with it concerns and anxiety. As we get closer and closer to the school returning, we will do all we can to support you and alleviate these worries.
I am pleased to report that the roofing at the front of the school is nearly complete and the works on the back roof is well underway. The site staff are finishing the very thorough clean of the school and the teaching staff will be in towards the end of next week and the following week to get classes ready for the children's return on Monday 7th September (Year 1 - Year 6). Senior Leaders will also be in school towards the end of the next week, and after this we will be in a much better position to communicate with you our final plans for the return. I am sure this will bring about more questions but please do bear with us.
Please be aware, should you need uniform, the school uniform shop will be open on Thursday 3rd September and Friday 4th September between 12pm and 2pm. It will then reopen Wednesday 9th September.
I hope you enjoyed the art session with Mrs Reinecke this week as well as some of the challenges that we have set you.
What to look out for next week (should you want to get involved):
- Session 5 of art with Mrs Reinecke
- Art challenges from Miss Kearns
- A poster reading competition from Mrs Jarvis and Miss Cason as part of the summer reading challenge
- A quiz challenge
- Story time with Miss Spencer
- Some Science challenges from Miss Bowdery.
Please continue to stay safe and look after yourselves and each other. We are so looking forward to seeing you all.
If you need us please contact us via the normal channels.
Have a good weekend and week everyone. Stay safe and alert and keep smiling!
Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Mrs Savidge
