It was lovely to welcome the community back to school last week and to hear about everyones holiday.

Thank you for your responses to the questionnaire as well as your positive feedback from Parents' Evening. We hope you found the meetings with your child's teachers useful and were proud to hear what the teachers had to say.The questionnaire will close tomorrow (Monday) if you have not compeleted it yet (you can find it by following this link - Autumn Term Questionnaire for Parents / Carers)

We have another busy week ahead.

Best of British Week
This week we will be celebrating Britain and the British Culture with our annual Best of British Week. This year will will be learning about Britain through the decades with the children being invited to dress up in the decade they have been studying for the week on Friday. We have lots of exciting things planned and are looking forward to celebrating the British culture. A letter about this came out before the holiday via Dojo and again last week.

Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality
Despite the times we are living in, we have decided to go ahead with this termly event and this week is our termly focus Attendance and Punctuality Week. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is in school everyday and on time (unless this is not possible for obvious reasons)! We really do need to work together to improve the children's attendance across the school, particulalry considering how much school they have all missed. Together we CAN DO IT! Look out for the daily updates!

Remembrance Day
On Thursday we will be holding our annual Remembrance Day Service. Although this will look slightly different to normal we still feel that it is important to recognise this important even. Look out for the displays on the school fence as always. The children always work hard to complete these.

Year 4
Year 4 are off to the Science Museum on Wednesday. If you have not returned the permission slip or the contribution please do so by Monday at the latest.

Year 6
From Monday and throughout the week, the Year 6 children will be sitting Mock SATs tests. Please speak to your child's class teacher after the tests if you wish to know how they got on do that you can further support them at home - every bit really does help!

Denmark comes to Clockhouse
We are very excited as we have a number of danish delegates visiting  the school on Thursday to get ideas to take back to Denmark in terms of the ICT provision we offer our pupils. We are all looking forward to welcoming them to the school.
