Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Chase S for excellent listening and joining in.
Reception -
Theo P (Northern Ireland) for extraordinary progress in writing.
Year 1 - Yaqub A (Spain) for being a kind friend and helpful around the classroom.
Year 2 - James M-H (USA) for working extraordinarily hard to improve his handwriting.
Year 3 - Armandas G (Brazil) for the brilliant progress he has been making in maths recently and how well his arithmetic skills have progressed this year.
Year 4 - Riley L (South Africa) for improving his punctuality coming back to school this week and for being super settled with his learning.
Year 5 - Olly A (China) for improving his maths and trying his best in all areas of the curriculum.
Year 6 - Teagan S (Fiji) for amazing resilience when solving maths problems this week.
Miss Ward - Lainey S (Japan) for extraordinary progress in maths.
Mrs Reinecke - Lewis C (Australia) for stepping out of his comfort zones and showing great confidence.
Mrs Savidge - Hayley R (Uganda) for her amazing efforts to step out of her comfort zone.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
