As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Rylee V for working so hard and recognising and saying his numbers to 10.
Reception - Darcy S (Wales) for always trying her absolute best.
Year 1 - Lleyton R (Italy) for making fantastic progress and improvement with his mental maths and making good progress in his 2 minute challenge.
Year 2 - Gracie C (Canada) for working so hard to improve her writing.
Year 3 - Jacob W (Peru) for giving a lot of good ideas for our class assembly and suggesting ways we could improve it.
Year 4 - Mia W (Kenya) for pushing herself with her learning and going above and beyond to develop her confidence.
Year 5 - Aaron W (Japan) for an amazing narrative and being a helpful role model during English lessons last week.
Year 6 - Lenny R (New Zealand) for showing amazing enthusiasm for his learning, especially science and the new knowledge he is gaining.
Miss Ward - Jody W (Kenya) for extraordinary progress with his multiplication knowledge.
Mrs Reinecke - Elora D (Scotland) for remembering all the words and confidently performing in her class assembly.
Mrs Savidge - Gracie B (China) for being extraordinarily polite throughout the whole school day.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
