As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':
Reception - Mia F (Scotland) for an exceptional start to Reception.
Year 1 - Ruby T (France) for always being exceptionally enthusiastic about her learning and being kind to everyone.
Year 2 - Miylah B (Mexico) for working exceptionally hard to focus on her learning by listening to and carefully following instructions.
Year 3 - Jack A (Peru) for showing an exceptionally positive attitude in school and trying his best.
Year 4 - Alfie N (South Africa) for trying exceptionally hard to improve his presentation skills.
Year 5 - Arooshay A (India) for being exceptional at showing the 3 R’s in all lessons and around the school.
Year 6 - Frankie S (New Zealand) for showing exceptional determination and perseverance in maths this week.
Greenland - Harlie S for the exceptional way he has challenged himself with his English work.
Miss Ward - Davy P (Wales) for being exceptionally kind and helpful to another child.
Mrs Reinecke - Lola P and Jacob W (Kenya) for being exceptionally helpful in 'Time to Eat'.
Mrs Savidge - Jack C (Japan) for being exceptionally brave and speaking in front of the class about helping children with different needs leading to him being voted as the classes School Parliament member.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
