Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Nursery - Ianis L for coming into school exceptionally happy.
Reception - Ollie M (Northern Ireland) for making exceptionally good progress with this writing.
Year 1 - Aleena H (France) for following the 3R's and being an exceptional role model when learning.
Year 2 - Abdulrasheed B (Mexico) for showing an exceptional, proactive attitude to improving his reading.
Year 3 - Sophie B (Brazil) for making an exceptional effort to learn both her spellings and timetables at home and her scores have been improving massively! I am very impressed with her effort.
Year 4 - Safae B (Kenya) for working exceptionally hard and independently to write a fantastic balanced argument.
Year 5 - Bogdan B (India) for having an exceptionally positive term so far. His improvement in his presentation and for his effort to improve his learning have been impressive to see.
Year 6 -
Ronnie C (Fiji) for his impressive interest in our topic of WWII and his exceptional approach to inspiring others to be as interested as he is.
Greenland - Grace P for her exceptionally positive attitude to learning about fractions in Maths.
Miss Ward - Elsie E (Italy) for being exceptionally helpful to others in the canteen.  Mrs Mann and the other staff members were really proud of her!
Mrs Reinecke - Ivan A (Fiji) for trying to be an exceptionally mature and responsible Clockhouse person.
Mrs Savidge - Connie S-W (Japan) for being an all round exceptional Clockhouse person.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
