Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Nursery - Elizabeth R for trying exceptionally hard during PE.
Reception -  Willow H (Scotland) for making exceptional progress and trying so hard with her learning.
Year 1 -  Elsie E (Italy) for trying exceptionally hard to be brave when coming into school. She sometimes finds this tricky and has been working really hard towards this.
Year 2 - Max P (Canada) for showing exceptional enthusiasm in all areas of learning.
Year 3 - Logan W (Brazil) being exceptional this year and we are so proud of how much progress he has made - especially with his reading and his spellings where he has impressed all the adults in Year 3 so much.
Year 4 - Oliver M (Kenya) for a being an exceptional computer champion throughout the whole of Year 4.
Year 5 - Mujtaba W (Japan) for always trying exceptionally hard in all lessons. He listens carefully to all instructions and gives 100% effort in all he does.
Year 6 -  Emmie P (New Zealand) for being an exceptional friend to others, a hard worker and a model of great behaviour in class.
Greenland - Harlie S for his increasing independence in learning.
Miss Ward - Jacob L (Italy) for his exceptionally hard work and determination in improving his blending skills to support with his reading.
Mrs Reinecke - Fin C (India) for persevering with his final assessment for the Brilliant Club. He showed exceptional resilience to get his assignment in on time.
Mrs Savidge - Zaina G-S (Scotland) for being an exceptionally kind friend to all and is trying very hard with her phonics.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
