Clockhouse embraced opportunity to take a small team from Year 3 and Year 4 children to a badminton workshop. During the event, they had the chance to explore the exciting world of badminton. The event was filled with engaging activities that allowed the children to learn new skills, including serving, passing, and participating in fun relay games.
The workshop provided a fantastic introduction to the sport, with the children developing their understanding of the basic techniques. They practiced serving the shuttlecock with precision, worked on their passing skills and had a great time engaging in relay challenges with their peers.
The atmosphere was lively and supportive, with everyone encouraging each other as they learned and improved. Everyone showed great enthusiasm throughout and many made impressive progress in their badminton skills over the course of the day.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the Year 3 and 4 team to get involved in a new sport, have fun and build teamwork through friendly competition. Well done to all the participants for their energy and effort!
