Good evening
Clockhouse
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and made the most of the times we
find ourselves in. It is hard to believe we are only just entering week 3 of
this new regime, but here we go again Clockhouse! We are with you (from afar)
all the way. Last week we had a 90% uptake on Zoom and similar on Google
Classroom, we are hopeful we can increase this, this week. If you need any
support logging in to any platform please do get in touch. We will be only too
pleased to help you.
As you already know, the expectations of this Lockdown on schools is
very different to the last Lockdown. One of the things that are stipulated to us is that
we have to have systems in place for checking whether pupils are engaging with their work, and inform parents where engagement is a concern. We are so, so pleased with the engagement so far
and ask that parents keep working with us to ensure the momentum continues. If
there is an issue with engagement we will be in touch to know how we can
support you. All we ask is that you keep doing your best and answer your phone
if we do call, thank you in advance (this may sometimes come form an unknown number). We are doing this because we care!
Team Hawaii have had another good day in school but it really is so, so
quite without you all. Let us hope we are all back together sooner rather than
later.
Well done to all those who have completed the 'Socks for Clocks'
challenge! Keep sending them in.
Look out for my weekly virtual newsletter (tomorrow) and the theme
for this Friday's 'Feel-good Friday Fashions'. We are also planning some other
things to keep our community together even though we are apart, something that
is so important to us all.
Please remember to email office@clockhouse.havering.sch.uk if you are
eligible for food vouchers starting next week and would like this. Please also
get in touch if you need us.
Keep being amazing team Clockhouse!
Please look after yourselves, follow the rules and stay safe, only by
doing this and working together will we get through this.
#ourclockhousefamily
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
