Good evening Clockhouse
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and have had a good start to the week. Here we are at the beginning of week 4 - it seems hard to believe that we are here already. We are with you (from afar) all the way. As always the teachers have loved seeing many of the children on Zoom today and seeing all their fabulous work. If you have not managed to log in today and need support to do so please get in touch. We will be only too pleased to help you.
As you already know, the expectations of this Lockdown on schools is very different to the last Lockdown and there is a requirement that we move the curriculum on and with it move your child's learning on and support them to progress. We need you to help us do this but please just do what you can and try. This is all we can ask! Our aim is to get all our families engaged in one way or another but need your help to do so! Thank you in advance.
As I am sure you know, we are very lucky to have such fabulous and committed teachers at Clockhouse and together we want to make this as easy as possible for you. In order for the staff to be able to give their best each day, they do need some down time. I know that you do not expect us to work around the clock but teachers do not want to let you or the children down. Moving forward please be aware that should you submit work after 5pm, this is absolutely fine as we know every families circumstances are different, but please understand that this may not be marked until the next day. I hope you can understand this and if you wish to discuss this further please come back to me.
Team Hawaii have had another good day in school and have enjoyed seeing many of you on Zoom!
Well done to all those who have completed the 'Socks for Clocks' challenge! Well done also for all those who have got involved in the Hearts for Clockhouse appeal! Keep the videos and photos coming!
I hope you enjoyed the first of the 'Clockhouse does Strictly' videos that came out this morning and hope you are all practising your dance moves! Look our for video 2 tomorrow.
