Clockhouse Weekly Wow

Here is last week's Weekly Wow and as usual there were a lot of things to 'wow' about last week.

Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you our next Clockhouse Value Champion of 2025-2026!

A huge congratulations to

Freddy N (New Zealand)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2025-2026!

I have been so impressed with this student's effort and resilience throughout his time in year 6. Whenever things got tricky, he did not allow himself to stop, he picked himself back up and put in even more effort. He has come such a long way and I am very proud of him!

Esme B (Kenya)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2025-2026!

Esme has worked incredibly hard this year to consistently demonstrate high standards in everything she does and is always striving to produce her best work. She approaches her learning with focus, determination and a strong sense of pride. She has been committed to learning not just in school but also at home and this excellent attitude is why she deserves this badge.

Rosie P (Peru)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2025-2026!

I have seen a real push in effort from this child in all aspects of their learning. They are taking on feedback from adults in the classroom and this is reflected in their work. Well done Rosie, keep it up!

Lewis B (USA)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2025-2026!

Lewis deserves this community award for his kindness and determination. Over the holidays, he raised money for critically ill children by completing a mile a day through different activities. He showed great commitment by sticking with it every day. His efforts and perseverance make him a great example to others in the community.

Hartej T (Canada)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2025-2026!

Hartej deserves the learning award for his positive attitude and commitment to improving his learning. He approaches his learning with enthusiasm, trying his best and showing determination when faced with challenges. His willingness to keep going, ask questions and take pride in his work making him a great example of a resilient learner.

Evie D (France)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2025-2026!

Evie has earned the Excellence value badge for the amazing week she has had, showing fabulous manners, great effort and a really positive attitude. She has worked exceptionally hard in maths, successfully completing all of her challenges, and has also shown great dedication in her phonics, making fantastic progress. Evie should be very proud of the effort and determination she has shown.

Maisie S (France)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2025-2026!

Maisie has earned the Respect value badge for the kind and thoughtful way she behaves each day. She listens carefully, follows advice and always tries her best to improve her work. Maisie is polite, helpful and treats everyone around her with respect, making her a lovely role model for others. She is always ready to support her friends and shows great respect for both her learning and those around her.

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!

Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are 'Relentless and Rigorous' in everything we do to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Abeledo and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Relentless and Rigorous':

Nursery - Violet M for being relentless and rigorous and becoming more independent.
Reception - Ilham A (Northern Ireland) for being relentless and rigorous and always trying her very best.
Year 1 - Arthur R (France) for being relentless and rigorous the amazing effort and focus he has been showing in Maths. I am so proud of how hard he is working and how he is pushing himself to try the harder challenges as well.
Year 2 - Anum W (Mexico) for having a relentless and rigorous approach to her learning and never giving up.
Year 3 - Olan O (Argentina) for being relentless and rigorous and building independence in maths when completing his challenges.

Great Golfing from Year 4

The children had a fantastic experience at the Tri Golf event, enjoying the warm, sunny weather while putting into practice the skills and knowledge they have been developing during their Golf PE lessons. It was great to see their confidence grow as they transferred their learning onto the course.

Throughout the event, the children rotated around eight different stations, each  designed to challenge and develop a range of golfing skills. These included controlled putting, target shots and powerful drives. Each station provided a different level of challenge, encouraging the children to focus on technique, precision and consistency.

The Clockhouse golfers represented the school exceptionally well. Not only did they demonstrate some brilliant shots, but they also showed fantastic sportsmanship at all times. They supported and encouraged one another, celebrated each other’s successes and showed resilience when faced with more challenging tasks. Their positive attitudes and teamwork were evident throughout the event.

A huge well done to all of the Clockhouse team - you did your school proud!

Team - Dylan (Uganda), Ellis (Uganda), Ruby (Uganda), Louie (Uganda), Colby (South Africa), Lenni (South Africa), Rosie (South Africa), Millie (Kenya), Eesa (Kenya) and Alyena (Kenya)
