Year 5 and 6 Tackle Cross Country

A team of children from Years 5 and 6 proudly represented Clockhouse at the annual cross-country event at Stubbers. Despite the cold and wet weather, the children showed fantastic determination and enthusiasm, refusing to let the conditions affect their performance.

The pupils took on the challenge of running a 2km course, demonstrating resilience and a positive attitude throughout. They all did a great job, pushing themselves to do their best and showing excellent commitment to the event.

We were incredibly proud of the way the children represented our school, supporting one another and embracing the challenge, whatever the weather.

Well done to all our runners! Their effort, determination and positive attitudes were fantastic to see, and they should be very proud of their achievements.

Team - Joey (Fiji), Freya (Fiji), Beau - (Fiji), Liam (Australia), Ronnie (Australia), Mandy (Australia), Keira (Australia), Ruby (India), Michaella (India), Emiliyah (India), Jack (India), Dylan (India) and Ellis (India)

Boccia Team Perform Brilliantly

Clockhouse were proud to be represented by a team of children at the Boccia tournament. It was a fantastic and inclusive event, and it was wonderful to see the children taking part, enjoying the experience and performing so well.

Throughout the tournament, the team competed in a range of matches, achieving several wins and enjoying great success. The children demonstrated excellent skills, determination and teamwork, showing enthusiasm and commitment in every match.

Most importantly, the team represented our school brilliantly. They showed respect towards their opponents, officials and teammates, displaying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the event. Their positive attitudes, encouragement of one another and willingness to participate made us extremely proud.

The tournament was a valuable opportunity for the children to develop their confidence, celebrate their abilities and experience the enjoyment of inclusive sport.

Well done team !

Team: Lennie (China), Ayub (South Africa) and Olan (Uganda)

Super Sketching in Year 6

Year 6 spent time creating these amazing dragon eye sketches.

They spent time exploring how artists use eyes to convey emotion studying the work of Picasso, Rene Margritte and Margaret Keane. They then transferred this to creating their own Dragons Eye. Watch out for how this develops!

Well done Year 6!
