Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Lettie G (Wales) for trying exceptionally hard to make super progress with her writing.
Year 1 - Olivia G (France) for making exceptional contributions in all lessons particularly in English.
Year 2 - Yuqub A (USA) for his exceptional use of questioning to further his learning and applying what he has learnt in the past to his lessons.
Year 3 - Harry T (Brazil) for his exceptional effort since Christmas. He has so impressed particularly with his spellings where he is putting in incredible effort at home to try and learn them and improve his scores.
Year 4 - Shaney-Rae L (Kenya) for showing exceptional resilience and super effort in all of her learning
Year 5 - Riley L (India) for his exceptional effort to improve his learning in particular his spellings where he is learning list 1 as well as list 2!
Year 6 - Lucas P (Fiji) for the exceptional way he is pushing himself out of his comfort zone and offering historical knowledge to the class.
Greenland - Matas T for his exceptional progress in communicating.
Miss Ward - Iffa I (New Zealand) for her exceptional help in Time to Eat and giving up extra of her own time to do so.
Mrs Reinecke - Harley G (Fiji) for maintaining an exceptional and resilient approach to her learning especially in maths.
Mrs Savidge - Nyah C (Italy) for being exceptionally kind to others in the canteen and putting her friends needs before her own.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
