Happy New Year everyone!
We all hope that you have had a fantastic Christmas and that 2023 has got off to a good start for you all! On behalf of all the staff a huge thank you for all the lovely cards and gifts we received prior to the Christmas break and for taking the time to bring them to us at the end of term. It really was so appreciated.
A huge thank you for your understanding and kind words during the rather unexpected end of term. At the time of writing there have been no further updates so it is our full intention to welcome you all back to school tomorrow (Thursday 5th January) but I will update you later to confirm. We all look forward to seeing everyone bright and early and to hear about holidays and adventures.
Please ensure that all the children return to school with all the necessary equipment they require - water bottles, coats, reading books and diaries and anything else they need. Please can we also remind you of the importance of full school uniform / PE uniform and that this along with coats are clearly named. PE will start again from tomorrow.
Clubs
Please remember that there are no clubs this week, these will resume next Monday with the exception of Rise So You Shine, which will be back tomorrow.
Reception and Nursery
Due to the gas works, for the next two days there will be no access to the Reception and Nursery playground for anyone. This means that all Nursery children will leave by the front door and all Reception children will enter and exit by the main school doors by the Key Stage 1 office. We should be back to normal on Monday, but will keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding.
