Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Nursery - Alvin K for working exceptionally hard and persevering with speaking.
Reception - Ethan B (Scotland) for making exceptional progress with blending his sounds and working hard at home with mummy to improve.
Year 1 - Elliana S (France) for showing her exceptional creativity in her writing over the past half term and producing some great pieces of work.
Year 2 - Gracie H (Canada) for working exceptionally hard, at all times, to reach her full potential.
Year 3 - Andrew S (Peru) for his exceptional writing of a non-chronological report.
Year 4 - Frankie G (South Africa) for working exceptionally hard to improve her times table scores at home and at school.
Year 5 - Dolly R-D (India) for exceptional resilience even when she was faced with a challenge (broken collar bone). She adapted and even tried to learn how to write left handed.
Year 6 - Tommy S (Fiji) for really shinning with confidence on his trip to Bournemouth and for continuing with his exceptional attitude towards his learning.
Greenland - Grace P for her exceptional recall skills when retelling a story.
Miss Ward - Leo S (Kenya) for working exceptionally hard with his times table soundcheck - he is logging on everyday and has completed over 70 of these now and  is feeling much more confident about his times table knowledge!
Mrs Reinecke - Anne-Marie N (Australia) for demonstrating exceptional resilience when trying to improve her writing.
Mrs Savidge - Eesa A (Italy) for his exceptional writing. He wrote terrific story using great handwriting and included conjunctions and adjectives.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
