Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2022-2023!

A huge congratulations to

Harry M (Australia)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Harry has really impressed all of the adults who teach him with how focused he has become when he is learning. Despite telling everyone how much he hates writing in the past, he has worked so hard to try and enjoy it this year and now tells us all writing is one of the things he is best at! He has really pushed himself during the last term and he even wrote an exceptional piece of writing about how he would feel walking down the corridor to Mrs Savidge's office after winning a value badge! We are all so proud of him- well done Harry!

Marco M (Australia)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Marco has been working really hard in writing this half term and because he has started to really apply himself his outcomes have been fantastic! Recently he wrote an excellent piece of writing based on the applause as well as a super piece on what he would do if he had one wish! Previously he has found it a real challenge to come up with ideas and finish pieces of writing independently so this has been a real achievement for him!

Olivia W (New Zealand)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Olivia has been working really hard over the last few weeks to master her writing craft and apply all the skills she has been taught to produce some really wonderful pieces of work. I have been incredibly impressed with the dedication she has shown to her learning and she should be proud of the progress she has made.

Fabian S (New Zealand)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Fabian is a wonderful example of a Clockhouse pupil who puts excellence into everything he does. He is determined to always show his skills and work to the best of his ability and never settles for giving anything less than 100% effort to the challenge he faces.

Jack C (Japan)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

He has made exceptional progress particularly with his reading skills. He reads at home and this has definitely reflected in his comprehension work at school. I was blown away by his assessment score this week and its a true reflection of his hard work and dedication to his learning.

Lucia T (Argentina)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This person has continued to develop her confidence this year. She has transformed from a shy and quiet girl to someone who helps her peers, tries her best with all of her learning and continuously has an active roll in our lessons. At the beginning of this year, she found maths quite a challenge with only being able to complete 1 (sometimes 2) challenges a day, however she has used her resilience and not given up and now completes 2 - 3 challenges within a lesson. Well done Lucia - Arggies could not be prouder of you!

Mahreen C (Argentina)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This person has blossomed into a fantastic, engaged and eager learning. This week she has continued to show me how amazing she is. She is now a very active member of each lesson and tries to answer the more challenging questions. This year, this person has found maths somewhat of a challenge, HOWEVER she has continued to get onto higher challenges and is beginning to show confidence. Myself and Mrs Overton could not be prouder of her amazing achievement and the super mathematician she has turned into. Well done Mahreen we are all so proud of you!

Nada H (Argentina)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This person has not been at Clockhouse very long, however she has continued to wow not only me but a number of other members of staff around the school. She has been an excellent member of our class from the moment she stepped in. Everything that this person does is excellent. Her work is outstanding and she always tries her best, she always ensures that she is helping others as well as showing others what being excellent really looks like. As a teacher I could not be happier or prouder to have this person join our class and I know that little Arggies are so proud of her. Well done Nada!

Riley F (USA)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This member of our class works so hard at all aspects of his learning!  Whether it be maths, art, geography or any other subject he tries his absolute hardest at every task he is set.  He listens carefully during lesson inputs, asks interesting and thoughtful questions and is able to apply his learning in so many different ways.  He is great at making links between topics and subjects and also at recalling information from earlier topics.  He even works incredibly hard at home, reading every single night and practising his spellings every week!  Well done Riley, you are a super star!

 Elissa K-C (USA)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

This member of our class has such a kind, caring and helpful nature!  She is always looking for ways to be helpful around the class, offering to help hand out books, tidy up when needed or collect resources.  She is also so helpful to her classmates when she sees they are finding their learning a little challenging, or if she notices someone in the playground who needs cheering up.  She has a lovely, generous nature and is an absolute pleasure to have in our class.  Well done Elissa, you are fantastic!

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
