Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are 'Relentless and Rigorous' in everything we do to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Abeledo and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Relentless and Rigorous':

Nursery - Shaan B gets hot chocolate for being relentless and rigorous in selecting his name card and trying really hard to write his name.
Reception - Francis W (Wales) for being relentless and rigorous and trying very hard with her name writing.
Year 1 - Harper T (France) for being relentless and rigorous in caring, supporting and helping another child in the class when we visited the library.
Year 2 - Lewis B (USA) for being relentless and rigorous by always showing enthusiasm in everything he does. He is always eager to learn new things and is ready for a challenge.
Year 3 - Ralphie S (Peru) for being  relentless and rigorous in improving his letter and number formations to ensure they are legible.
Year 4 - Esme B (Kenya) for being rigorous and relentless when trying her best in Maths. She has worked so hard that this had lead to her improving her arithmetic scores.
Year 5 - Keira S (China) for her relentless and rigorous attitude towards learning and progress. She works hard and asks questions to further develop her understanding.
Year 6 - Caleb R (Fiji) for showing excellent relentlessness by independently checking his own work carefully, correcting his own mistakes and rigorously making sure it includes everything it needs before asking for help.
Greenland - David C for being relentless and rigorous with his outstanding independent work when counting in twos.
Miss Ward - Madalin B (Fiji) for being relentless and rigorous and working so hard to improve his reading.  He has made great progress as he has been practising at home so much.
Mrs Abeledo - Gracie S (Scotland) for being relentless and rigorous in her enthusiastic approach to school life.
Mrs Savidge - Harley S (Italy) for being relentless and rigorous and writing his numbers. He also did a great job in the phonics lesson.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Relentless and Rigorous' this week!
