Weekly reminders for week beginning 1st December 2014

With Christmas fast approaching and the hitting of December this week we are gearing up for the Festive Season at Clockhouse!

Thank you  to all those parents / carers who attended the Year 6 Learn with your Child morning - we hope you found this useful and has helped you to provide further support for your children in their learning.

Year 6

This week sees Year 6 complete their first Mock SATs tests of the year. Please make sure the children get some early nights and come to school having had a good breakfast so that they can perform to their best.

Some of our Year 6 children are also off to The Royal Opera House on Thursday to see Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Year 2

Year 2 are off to Collier Row Library on Tuesday, please ensure that permissions slips are returned by Monday if you have not done so already.

Good luck to the Sports Hall Athletics team who represent the school in a Borough competition on Tuesday.

Do not forget to order Christmas Dinner for your child if you have not done so already and that the PA will be holding the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 13th December (11-2).

The Dojo League

The Dojo League!

A big well done to everybody for all the positive Dojos that have been awarded this week, there have certainly been a lot!

2TR, 3LW and 3LB currently top the League, with  2SM behind them in second place and 2JK in third place.

Well done to these classes and everyone else for really trying to earn Dojos for their class.

6NB - 98.33%

A special mention must go to all three of these classes who win the attendance award for the second week in a row!

Our whole school attendance level currently stands at

96.1%

This is still above our target of 96% - well done everyone, keep it up!

Year 6 Learn with my Child - tomorrow

We look forward to welcoming our Year 6 parents / carers into school tomorrow for the 'Learn with my Child' morning that Year 6 are hosting. 

Please sign in at the school office and be ready to start learning at 9.30am!

The children have had a great time and are just about to embark on the journey home.

The children are all having a great time at Wembley. Despite the rain and the current score they are in great spirits and are enjoying every  minute of it!

We have another busy week ahead of us as we move that little bit closer to Christmas!

Year 3

We look forward to welcoming parents of the children taught by Mrs Duniam at 2.30 on Wednesday to discuss a very new and exciting project we are about to embark upon which involves lots of exciting outdoor learning!

Year 6
We look forward to welcoming our Year 6 parents once again for Learn with my Child on Thursday morning at 9.30 am.

Good luck to the boys football team who play Harold Wood on Tuesday night in the final sporting event of the year.
