Day 3 of the Clockhouse Family (part 1)

Good morning Clockhouse

How is everyone? A big well done for all that you are doing at home and thank you to those members of our community who are working on the front line or who are key workers. As key workers ourselves we know how hard this is!

In school, 'Team 3' are in working with the children and supporting the community. Mrs Olivier is working with Nursery, Reception and Year 1, Mrs Herrera is with Year 2, 3 and 4 and Miss Wilson / Mrs Redgrave are in Year 5 and 6. Mrs Savidge, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Jarvis are also in school along with a few others.

The other staff continue to work remotely and are busy trying to answer your many questions (I am sure you will agree they are doing a great job), look at your lovely photos you are sending in and planning learning for you all.

Your respect and co-operation in everything that we are doing at this unprecedented time is so gratefully welcomed as are your lovely messages of thanks and encouragement.

We are learning together and it is important that we are in a position to sustain momentum with this over the coming weeks; it is definitely a marathon not a sprint so please do not put too much pressure on yourselves. Please remember that in these unprecedented times, your children will need your reassurance that everything will be all right. As you know, learning is important during this time to give the children a sense of normality but bear with them as they will be finding this hard and will need your understanding, support and reassurance. Having some fun at this time is just as important.

Look out for more plank challenges coming your way today, Day 2 of the 30 Day Lego Challenge as well as the challenge for today and the next part of Mrs Herrera's story!

Word of the Day will also be starting via Dojo - I know some of you have already received this!

Please keep the #ourclockhousefamily going with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. It is great to see you all do the same! Remember you can follow up on Facebook and Twitter. You can also post on our Twitter feed - @ClockhousePRim!

Keep in touch.
Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
We so look forward to the below picture being taken with the space full of our wonderful children!
Stay safe and keep smiling

Mrs Savidge
