This person is always happy to support others with their learning and gave up her own time to support a friend in her class with their understanding of time.
Ruhama Y (New Zealand)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This person consistently shows a positive attitude towards her learning, listening to and acting upon the advice given to her and approaching all challenges with a resilient attitude. She has also been completing lots of learning at home in her own time.
Olivia S (Kenya)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This award is well deserved after Olivia has continued to show care and kindness to all those around her. She is one of the first in the class to console anyone who is feeling upset and brings a smile to their face. Not only this, but she shows incredible nurture to the school and wider commuity. Reccently, she participated in a community litter pick with her family showing her selflessness and dedication to look after others. Well done Olivia, I know all of team kenya will be very proud of you!
Tommy Y (Kenya)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!
I could not be happier to give Tommy this award. After facing some challenges this year, he has show resilience to be focused on his learning and show great respect to others. This is not something only I have noticed, but mutiple other teachers have commented recognising Tommy's efforts in and otuside of the classroom. Keep up all of your hard work Tommy, you should be very proud of yourself!
Daisy S (South Africa)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This member of our class has worked so hard this year and is really beginning to show some great progress, especially in English, but in other areas as well. She has some great ideas and her vocabulary choices have really impressed me recently. What has been particularly lovely to see is her confidence and self belief beginning to grow! Whereas at the start of the year she was reluctant to write without an adult nearby, she is now happily working independently and producing some exciting and well thought out work on her own! I am incredibly proud of her, and so pleased for her too!
