Clockhouse Chip, Put and Drive their way through Competition

Clockhouse took part in the Havering Tri Golf festival, taking 10 children from Year 4 to compete in the event.

Battling through the cold and windy conditions, the children took part in 8 activities to test their golf skills. They got to use a range of golf clubs whilst being tested on their driving, chipping and putting. Throughout the event, many of the sports leaders supporting the event commented on the ability of the children and how Clockhouse was one of the top performing schools on the day.

Clockhouse amassed 732 points throughout the day and although no results were given, the organisers commented on the phenomenal performance of Clockhouse in the bullseye event.

The children had a great time and it was lovely to see them all supporting and encouraging each other throughout the day and applying the skills they have learnt in PE into a new environment.

Frankie (South Africa), Stanley (South Africa), Freddy (Kenya), Kiki (Kenya), Sophie (Kenya), Abeer (Kenya), David (Kenya), George (Uganda), Harrison (Uganda) and Hugo (Uganda).
