Going Above and Beyond Celebration

Hot Chocolate with the Head!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all working to 'Go Above and Beyond' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Mrs Pacheco, Mr Bottrill and Mrs Savidge will chose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to 'Go Above and Beyond'.

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Go Above and Beyond'.

Reception - Mrs Newman for going the extra mile when it is needed.
Year 1 - Mrs Caruana for showing great dedication to Clockhouse and the Year 1 team.
Year 2 - Teagan S for going above and beyond with her written work and writing an amazing story.
Year 3 - Melanie A for having a fantastic attitude to her learning and school life in general.
Year 4 - Hayden L for having an amazing attitude to his learning since returning to school from the holiday.
            - Miss Taylor for her fantastic work to make lessons fun and engaging for Year 4.
Year 5 - John O for showing exemplary manners at every opportunity.
Year 6 - Bobby L for a very positive change and going above and beyond with his learning this term.
Mrs Pacheco - Tyra M for her commitment to improve her reading which is now showing in her ability.
Mr Bottrill - Charlie G for always going above and beyond in everything he does.
Mrs Savidge - Imran B for taking on his new job for his class so well and taking the importance of it seriously.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have gone Above and Beyond this week.

Weekly reminders for week beginning 8th January 2018

It was lovely to welcome everyone back last week and we were pleased to hear about everyone's Christmas Holidays. Thank you for the very positive start we have made to the new term - the children were certainly returned ready and eager for learning.

Some children still do not have the necessary equipment they require - full P.E. kits, water bottles, coats, home learning, reading books and diaries and anything else they need. Please ensure these are all in school by Monday. Please can we also remind you of the importance of full school uniform and that this along with coats are clearly named.

Please remember that clubs restart this week unless you have been advised otherwise.
