As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are 'Relentless and Rigorous' in everything we do to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Abeledo and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Relentless and Rigorous':
Nursery - Alara A-A for being relentless and rigorous in managing her own self-help needs.
Reception - Ariya A (Scotland) for being relentless and rigorous and trying very hard with her learning and as a result making wonderful progress.
Year 1 - Qadeera A (Italy) for being relentless and rigorous with her beautiful writing and use of expanded noun phrases when describing her Bog Baby.
Year 2 - Adam U (USA) for being relentless and rigorous by working hard in class, always trying his best and completing additional home learning.
Year 3 - Grayson W (Peru) for being relentless and rigorous in his approach to reading both at home and school
Year 4 - David A (Kenya) for being relentless and rigorous and doing really well in his athletics events but he also took the time to cheer on and support others.
Year 5 - Jaiden F (China) for being relentless and rigorous in improving his writing.
Year 6 - Penny D (New Zealand) as she has thoroughly impressed me with how relentless and rigorous she has been in her role as a sports leader and in preparation for her role in the production.
Greenland - Logan O for being relentless and rigorous and working exceptionally hard in English lessons to make his sentences more accurate. He used 'and' to extend his sentences independently.
Miss Ward - Raina F (France) for being relentless and rigorous and showing wonderful progress in her phonics recall, blending and sentence writing, using her phonics.
Mrs Abeledo - George S (USA) for being relentless and rigorous to improve his writing.
Mrs Savidge - Rylee V (Peru) for being relentless and rigorous in managing his own self-help needs.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Relentless and Rigorous' this week!
