Here is this week's Weekly Wow and as usual there are a lot of things to 'wow' about this week.

The Dojo League

Well done to everyone for really trying to earn Dojos for their class.

The attendance winners this week are...

Great attendance leads to
great learning and progress!

Congratulations to the three classes below who are our winners for this week - keep it up!

A big well done to this week's winners who are:

Northern Ireland - 97.9%
Kenya - 98.4%
Fiji - 96.0%

A huge well done to all 3 classes above for being the attendance winners for this week. Well done to Fiji who win for the second week in a row.

Only 5 classes were in the Green Zone this week with an attendance above 96% - well done to those classes but we certainly need this to improve after half term!

A further well done to Nursery AM, PM and All Day, Northern Ireland, France, Italy, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa, China, Fiji and New Zealand who had no lates this week.

Whole school attendance for this week is:

93.1%

Whole school attendance for the year currently stands at:

 94.1%

Well done everyone and thank you all for your continued support in ensuring that the
children come to school every day and on time!

It is still important that we all work to improve our attendance.
Please remember that our school target is 96%.

Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Reception - Blake R (Wales) for trying so hard with his handwriting and showing great resilience.
Year 1 - Lily-Ann N (Italy) for coming back to school ready for learning and always being ready for a challenge.
Year 2 - Poppy V (Canada) for making the Ordinary Extraordinary in R.E and developing her knowledge of the British Values.
Year 3 - Valeria V (Brazil) for her brilliant focus, determination and confidence in all subjects last half term, but particularly in English and her performance poetry.
Year 4 - Oliver F (Uganda) for getting 10/10 on his spelling tests each week.
Year 5 - Finn N (China) for being an excellent Clockhouse representative when outside of school by helping members of the public.
Year 6 - Gabriel V (New Zealand) for perseverance and effort in mastering BIDMAS in maths this week.
Miss Ward - Grace P (Greenland) for being an exceptionally responsible citizen.
Mrs Reinecke - Tyler K (South Africa) for extraordinary writing in his English work.
Mrs Savidge - Isabelle H (Peru) for being a fabulous friend to others.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!

Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have our next Clockhouse Value Champion!

A huge congratulations to

Henri H (India)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2021 - 2022!

Henri consistently challenged himself in Maths since joining Clockhouse and this week he even went to find Mr Pye at break time to ask for extra help with his division! He then completed 3 challenges independently and was so happy with himself which has been lovely to see!

Emmie P (China)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2021-2022!

Emmie is an exceptionally responsible member of Clockhouse. She willingly helps those around her and takes this very seriously.

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
