While the children are away...

Whilst everyone is busy enjoying their summer holidays, things have not stopped at Clockhouse and at the time of writing there is still more being done!

We are really pleased with the new windows and doors that have been put into the Year 2 and Admin Corridor in Key Stage 1 - don't they look good!

We are also really pleased with the girls toilets (Key Stage 1 and 2) that have been fully refurbished!

There is still lots more going on and more photos will follow!

School Uniform - Please read

As you know we take pride in the fact that all our children wear school uniform and would like to take this opportunity to thank parents and carers for the support they give us in achieving this. School uniform is one of the ways in which we encourage the children to feel a part of the school community.

Therefore as you may well be beginning to think about school uniform for September in the not too distant future, please can we remind you all that when you are buying new uniform please remember that shoes should be predominantly black.

The uniform is as follows:
White polo shirts with school logo
                                                    Grey shorts or long trousers
Royal blue sweatshirt with school logo
Sensible shoes, not boots (preferably without laces)
                                                    Grey skirt or pinafore dress
Royal blue cardigan (sweatshirt) with school logo
                                                    Blue and white check dress

PE Kit:                                        White t-shirt with school logo
                                                    Royal blue shorts
                                                    Royal blue / Grey tracksuit
                                                    Plimsolls

Please note that the children in the Nursery do not need a PE kit.

Nail Varnish: Please remember that nail varnish and make up is not to be worn by pupils. Any designs that have been painted on during the holiday need to be removed by the start of school in September.

Earrings: Please also remember that earrings should not be worn for school for health and safety reasons.

School Uniform Sales:
To ensure that the start of the new school year is as smooth as possible, please ensure that uniform is purchased on the two training days in September before the children return. Mrs Baker’s uniform shop will be open on September 1st and 2nd but will be shut on 3rd and 4th September. It will re-open on 7th September.

Order forms for school uniform can be obtained from the school office from 3rd September.

Please ensure that ALL uniform is clearly named.

Thank you in advance for your support in this matter.
