Weekly reminders for the week beginning 29th September 2014

It has been lovely to see so many Nursery children excited and eager to start with us last week. We look forward again to welcoming more children this week. We hope those parents / carers who joined Mrs Edgar and Mrs Ayling enjoyed the MacMillan coffee morning also.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that we raised a fantastic £440 for Genes for Jeans day - thank you for all your support.

Thank you also to those parents who attended the Parent / Governor meeting last Thursday. We hope you found this useful and thank you for the ideas you gave us to improve the school further - we have already started to think about how some ideas can be implemented.

Do not forget that Thursday sees out first Special Dinner Day of the year. All children are welcome. For children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 this comes under the government free school meal initiative. Children in Key Stage 2 will need a dinner ticket as normal.

Also on Thursday we have our first home sports match of the season when we take on Oakfields in Tag Rugby. Please come along and support the children.

Future dates for the Diary
23rd October children's Fancy Dress Disco (Year 1, 2 and 3 4pm - 5.30, Year 4, 5 and 6 6pm - 7.30). Tickets can be purchased for this. Please send the slip and £2 back to school and we will pass this to the PA.
13th December - 'Frozen' themed Christmas Fete.

As always we thank you for your continued support in all we do.

Have a good week everyone!
