Weekly reminders for week beginning 13th October 2014

We finally have all our Nursery children in school and we are pleased to say they are settling to school life well.

The revamp to the Quad area in Key Stage 1 is coming along well and we hope that it will be ready to use soon. Thank you to the PA and to you all as we have been able to purchase a staging area for Reception, look out for more improvements in the near future!

Thank you to all the Year 2 and 6 parents and families who came into school to learn with the children last week, the children and staff certainly enjoyed welcoming you into their classrooms, we hope that you enjoyed it to and found it useful.

On Tuesday we are holdimg our annual Harvest Festival. If you are able to send any non-perishable foods on or before Tuesday we would be most grateful. All that is collected will be taken to the food bank.

Year 4

Year 4 are off to London Zoo on Thursday, please remember if you have not done so already, to ensure that you have sent the permission slip for the trip into school by Tuesday at the latest.

Year 5
Explore Learning are coming in to work with Year 5 on Thursday. This is a good opportunity for the children to further develop Literacy and Maths skills.

We have two football matches this week which are both at home. The boys take on Crownfield Junior in a local derby on Thursday with the girls playing St. Peters on Friday. Please come and cheer them on!

Please do not forget that Friday 24th October is a staff training day and therefore the school will be closed to children.

As always we thank you for your continued support in all we do.

Have a good week everyone!
