A big well done to the Key Stage 2 choir who represented Clockhouse at the Young Voices at the O2 on Friday evening. They were all fantastic and it was certainly wonderful to sit in the audience and watch them - we are sure those who were there will agree!
Nursery
We look forward to welcoming our Nursery families into school this week to make Chinese Lanterns with the children as part of their learning about Chinese New Year. If you are not sure when your allotted time is please see a member of the Nursery team and they will be only too happy to help you.
Year 4
We also look forward to welcoming our Year 4 parents to school on Thursday morning for a 'Learn with your Child' session. This will start at 9.30 and finish at 11.45. If you cannot make the whole session, please join us for what you can. Please note that younger siblings will be unable to attend as this can cause disruption to the learning of the children.
It is a very busy week sporting wise for Clockhouse this week - good luck to all those participating!
Tuesday - Boys Football League Festival 6-a-side competition - away
Wednesday - Netball Match v Crownfield Junior - away
Thursday - Boccia Festival - away
Friday - Boys Football Match v Parklands Junior - away
We also welcome Free the Children this week, a international charity who work to ensure all children are free to achieve their fullest potential as agents of change. They will be talking to both the Key Stage 1 and 2 children in assembly on Thursday and then working with some members of the School Council on a project to help our local community - an exciting prospect!
