Weekly reminders for week beginning 14th March 2016

As we move towards the end of the Spring term, it is hard to believe that the final term of the year is nearly upon us.

Although it is not long until the Easter Holidays we have another busy week ahead of us!

Travelling Book Fair
If you haven't visited already, the travelling book fair continues at Clockhouse this week for Monday and Tuesday only. This is based in the Key Stage 1 hall after school.

Foundation Stage
The children and staff in Reception and Nursery are looking forward to our yearly visit from Wellgate Farm tomorrow (Monday). Please remember to tell a member of the team if your child has any allergies.

Year 6
The Year 6 children take part in their next round of Mock SATs tests this week. Good luck to you all, remember early nights and a good breakfast to make sure those brains are switched on and ready to go!

We look forward to welcoming our Year 6 parents for Learn with my Child on Friday morning at 9.30am. The morning will finish at 11.45am. Please come for as little or as much as you can. Regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.

Year 5
Japan and India are off to Royal Liberty School on Tuesday for some exciting Science learning. Please ensure that permission strips are returned in plenty of time if you have not done so already.

Do not forget that the meeting regarding the final arrangements for the Condover Hall trip is taking place on Thursday (17th March) at 5pm in the Key Stage 2 hall.

Artist in School
Year 1, 2 and 3 look forward to welcoming Paul Priestly (Artisit) to school on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively. He will be working with them in the style of the famous artists. We are certainly looking forward to seeing their creations. Please ensure that you have sent the money into school for this is you have not done so already.

Sport
Good luck to the boys football team who play Harold Court at home on Tuesday and to the netball team who play their quarter final against Hylands at home on Wednesday. More good luck to the girls football team who play the borough quarter final on Thursday at home. Please come along and show your support if you can!

Please do not forget that we finish school for the Easter holidays on Thursday 24th March.

Have a good week everyone!
