Girls Football Team reach semi-finals for the first time!

After finishing runners up in their group, the Clockhouse girls football team were drawn away to St Albans Primary School in the quarter final of the League Cup.

Clockhouse arrived in good spirits and got straight down to business, dominating play from the first minute.

It took less than 5 minutes for Gracie H to score her first of 4 goals on the day. St Albans really struggled to deal with Gracie's runs from midfield and powerful shots. Other goal scorers on the day included Emily G who impresses more and more with every game, Paris K, and an unfortunate own goal following a dangerous cross from Sophie L.

Sophie L put in more than one fantastic pass on the day, this is something the team have clearly been working on as Paris K and Jodie S also made crucial passes.

Credit to the girls from St Albans who never let their heads drop and finished the game smiling, playing in the true spirit of the game! Clockhouse now move on th the semi-final for the first time in the schools history. Mr McGlincheys team were ruthless on the day.

Well done girls, you've done the school proud yet again!!!

Final Score Clockhouse 7 - 0 St Albans

Player of the Match - Gracie H

Squad - Kayleigh M, Rosie K, Atiya R, Beth C, Gracie H, Sophie L, Paris K, Emily G, Jodie S
