Weekly reminders for the week beginning 24th April 2017

It was lovely to welcome the children and families back to school last week and hear all about the holidays that had been had.

We have another busy week ahead at Clockhouse with a lot going on.

Kenya and Canada
Kenya and Canada start this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by.
Kenya - 9am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
Canada - 2.45pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)

Reception
The Reception children (and staff) are very excited to welcome a dinosaur workshop to school on Thursday to support their learning about dinosaurs.

Year 5
We all hope that Year 5 have a fabulous time at Condover Hall. Please remember to meet your group leader in the canteen on Monday morning. The children will be departing at 10am promptly if you wish to wave them off. Updates about the trip will be on the school blog, dojo and website as well as being by the main office door.

If your child is not going to Condover Hall, please ensure that the children come to school with their swimming kit on Monday as they will be going swimming on Monday morning.

Sport
Good luck to the Year 5 and 6 Basketball team who take part in a borough competition on Thursday.

We are delighted to announce that finally we are in a position to open the fabulous facility that is our Multi Use Games Area on Friday. We will be welcoming a Paralympic to school as well as a number of local dignitaries. Look out for pictures coming your way soon!
