Day 10 of the Clockhouse Family (part 2)

Good evening Clockhouse

Well this evening marks 2 weeks since we shut our doors and you all became teachers over night. It has not been easy for any of us but you have all certainly adapted well and we have all been so impressed by everything that has been happening at home and as school. You certainly all deserve a Dojo or two and the Hot Chocolate that I nominated you for earlier!

I hope you enjoyed our different version of Hot Chocolate with the Head and liked the story I chose this week. Your entries for today's challenge have been impressive, I am sure many of the little people have pleased the big people with this one!

Another busy day has been had by all! Your pictures from home certainly show this. The children in school had a busy day doing similar learning to you all at home as well as some Art Work. We all enjoyed the work our with Joe Wicks this morning. Your costumes were great and we even had a werewolf in school. I am sure I will ache tomorrow!

As I am sure you will agree the staff have again done a phenomenal job this week at keeping in touch with you and providing any support you have needed. I am sure you join with me in thanking them. This is definitely going to be a marathon not a sprint and the staff do need a break! Like last week please can I therefore ask that you only Dojo in an emergency to give the staff a rest. I am sure you understand this and thank you for your respect in advance.

As I said this morning, today will be the last day of learning being set daily on Google Classroom for the next two weeks. Everyone does need a break, including you and the children. So that you have something to keep you going we will still provide a weekly overview for you to use as well as daily lego challenge and challenge of the day should you wish to make use of these. Normal business with Google Classroom will resume on 20th April. Please do enjoy the break! Please be aware also that Dojo will not be manned as closely as it has been over the last two weeks whilst the school staff have some kind of holiday. If you do need us though we are still here and this form of communication can be used. Our responses might just be a little slower. You can also call the school - phones will be manned between 7.45am and 4pm on option 3 or 5. Thank you for your support in this.

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other everyday but we are still one community who care for each other!

I will be in touch with the normal Sunday reminders (even though it is the holiday).

But for now and big round of applause and thank you for our wonderful community.
Have a good one! Happy weekend!
Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
