Day 29 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you are all well and are making the most of this time at home. It is hard to believe that we are nearly at the end of Week 6! Still the more we do as we have been told the closer we will get to getting some level of normality back, whatever the new normal will look like. Unfortunately, none of us know that!

Well done to Year 3 for a great Greek Day, your costumes were fantastic, and your teachers and I were so impressed! We hope you have liked the two stories that have been read to you, one by Mr Terry and one by Miss Wilson! There are more to come. I also hope you enjoyed your Art Lesson with Mrs Reineke - please post your optical illusions for all to see!

In school, the children have been busy, they completed their Google Classroom learning and then have enjoyed some activities including art, geography and riding bikes through puddles! 'Team Th2' have been working with the children and supporting the community. Miss Fisher has worked with Nursery, Reception, Year 1, 2 and 3 and Mrs Booth with Year 4, 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Brind and Miss Brown. We also had Mr Ron with us. Mrs Reinecke has been in school today, whilst I have been a call away if needed.

Remember to look our for our first virtual Achievement Assessbly tomorrow morning just after 9am, where I will be announcing our first set of Home Learning Heroes. Remember to look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head at 2.30pm tomorrow as well !

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Remember to clap tonight for all those people doing so much for our country as well as our own key workers, front line workers and our own school staff!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
