Day 19 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you have had a good day as we approach the end of the official Easter Holiday. It does seem all rather strange. I am sure like me you are eagerly awaiting the news from the government at 5pm but I do honestly think it will be more of the same! Still each day that passes is a day closer to this being over!

I hope you enjoyed the challenge of today. The staff are also having their own competition with this. I already have a few entries. Remember answers need to be submitted by tomorrow (Friday) at 3pm. The winner will be announced on Saturday so do send your entries in.

In school, the children have been busy. Some of the day was spent with them writing cards and letters to the Care Home where my Grandma lives, they were so greatful for them last  time and they asked us to do them again to help keep the residents spirits high. 'Team Th3' have been working with the children and supporting the community today. Miss Burrell has worked with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and Miss Jones with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Jackson and Mrs Odger. Mrs Montague has been in the office and we also had Mr Ron with us. Miss Ward and Mrs Jarvis have also been in whilst I was only a call away.

Tomorrow look out for Hot Chocolate with the Head!

Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that we are posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other every day but we are still one community who care for each other!

Please remember to clap all those special people this evening who are doing all they can for us all! It always makes me rather emotional!

Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
Mrs Savidge
