Hot Chocolate with the Head

 Hot Chocolate with the Head!

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Going the extra mile' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile':

Reception - Mrs Ford for going the extra mile for the whole Reception community this week.
                 - Mrs Booth for going the extra mile for the whole Reception community this week.
Year 1 - Jessica R (Italy) for applying all she is learning in English and this is seen in the work she does.
Year 2 - Bella J (USA) for trying extremely hard with her learning at home.
Year 3 - Daria L (Brazil) for bringing her team together in PE so that they were all able to complete the tasks set.
Year 4 Bella C (Kenya) for being extremely kind and thoughtful to her peers and her teacher, including highlighting positive things about others to make them smile
Year 5 - Courtney B (India) for saving up all his money and using it to buy toys for families in hardship.
Year 6 Lowan B (New Zealand) for an amazing effort in all areas of his learning and persevering through challenges.
Greenland - Bobby M-J for being such a positive role model to others.
Mr Yarrow - Lacey S (Australia) for working so hard during PE and showing an amazing understanding of her learning.
Miss Ward - Molly J (Uganda) for going the extra mile to get people to smile and to make them happy.
Mrs Reinecke - Evie P (Fiji) for her amazing retell to the Beowul Wolf story.
Mrs Savidge - Leani F (Argentina) for trying extremely hard with learning her times table and going the extra mile with her learning at school and at home.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
