Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Going the extra mile' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile':

Nursery - Aiden O for coming into Nursery so well and making an extra effort to join in with circle time.
Reception - Poppy H (Scotland) for being super kind to others and trying hard with her school work.
Year 1 - Noah B (Italy) for working extra hard with his reading and remembering to use his phonics to help with unknown words.
           - Mrs Bowden for helping do a very difficult job.
Year 2 - Jake H (Canada) for trying so hard with his reading.
Year 3 - Frankie TB (Peru) for showing the British values through his history work on our Greek Day.
Year 4 -
Nathan B (Kenya) for consistently showing the 3Rs and being a positive model to others.
Year 5 - Lewis C (China) for making super improvements with his reading, reading lots at home and sharing what he has read.
Year 6 - Alvin S (Fiji) for always trying his best and for his excellent knowledge of algebra.
Mr Yarrow - Dillan C (Australia) for his amazing efforts with his running.
Miss Ward - George S (South Africa) for being superb Clockhouse Citizen and always helping others.
Mrs Reinecke - Scarlett C (Japan) for her excellent drama skills linked to her learning in History and English.
Mrs Savidge - Avani C (USA) for always going the extra mile in every part of school life.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
