Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Dembo J for always following the three R's.
Reception -
Hector H (Scotland) for being such a kind friend to others.
Year 1 - Nikos A (France) for bringing a positive attitude to all of his learning and doing the same during break and lunchtime.
Year 2 - Amanat B (USA) for amazing art work and applying her skills in her learning and for making Class USA Christmas ready!
Year 3 - James K (Argentina) for trying so hard with his phonics and writing as well as going out of his way to encourage others to be the best that they can be.
Year 4 - Wahab R (Uganda) for working really hard on improving his handwriting and presentation.
Year 5 - Amelia F (China) for trying really hard when her maths got challenging.
Year 6 - Mason S (Fiji) for applying his maths skills to his computing tasks on collecting data and producing graphs.
Greenland - Grace P for make fantastic progress with her spelling challenges every week.
Miss Ward - Jake H (Brazil) for going out of his way to help others.
Mrs Reinecke - Ayah Z (Kenya) for her extraordinary writing and presentation.
Mrs Savidge - Poppy J (Argentina) for being so kind and helping to keep our school tidy.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
