Weekly reminders for week beginning 15th July 2024

It was another busy week as we get closer to the end of the year!

Thank you to everyone who sent and said birthday wishes to the school. The children (and staff) certainly enjoyed celebrating the school's special birthday!

We hope you enjoyed reading your child's school report and were proud to read about their year. Please do send the feedback sheets back if you have not done so already. Also may I take this opportunity to thank all those who completed the online questionnaire. Your feedback is certainly very valuable to us!

Late start Monday
With a very important football match happening on Sunday evening, we appreciate this may mean children will stay up late to watch the match. Please be aware that school will open at normal time but should children wish to come in a little later registers will stay open until 9.45am. Should you arrive after 9.00am all the normal gates will be locked. Please enter via the driveway at the front of the school.
Please be aware Monday is an important day for the children as the morning is Meet the Teacher where they will spend time meeting their new teacher and working in their new classroom. This will start shortly after 9.45am, so please do ensure children are in school by this time. Anyone coming in up until 9.45am will not be marked as late, anyone after this time will be.

Meet the Teacher
The children will be meeting their new teacher on Monday morning and spending time in their new classrooms. We are sure they are all very excited about this - the staff certainly are!

Open Evening
Do not forget that it is Open Evening after school on Monday, please come into school anytime between 3.30 and 5pm to look at the children's work and meet the teachers. Please also take the time to look around the school and visit your child's new classroom, their current teacher will be able to point you in the right direction. All new teachers will be in school to meet you.

On Tuesday morning (9.15am) we look forward to welcoming families to the Key Stage 2 Sports Day.  On Wednesday we look forward to welcoming families to the Reception and Nursery to Sports Day. Times are as follows, Nursery (11.00am / 2.45pm), Reception (9.15am). On Thursday (9.15am) we look forward to welcoming Key Stage 1 families to Sports Day
