Teamwork wins the day for the Year 3 and 4 Girls Football Tournament

The Clockhouse Year 3 and 4 girls football team showed incredible determination and teamwork during their first competitive tournament. The girls trained diligently at lunchtimes and it truly paid off as they thrived throughout the day, delivering impressive performances. Their commitment resulted in a series of great wins, draws and the ability to stay positive and focused even when faced with losses.

The first victory of the day was a fantastic 4-1 win. Freya, Harlie and Millie all played key roles in providing excellent assists, with Liv demonstrating outstanding finishing skills, scoring all four goals. Amelia was a strong presence in goal, making several brilliant saves that kept the team in top form. Naya and Maddie played an essential role in the defence, staying disciplined and focused, while Emilyah's precise passes helped move the ball into dangerous areas.

The girls’ teamwork was the highlight of the day, with their spirits high from start to finish. This amazing collaboration was rewarded when the team was presented with the Teamwork Award of the Day. Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic effort!
