Year 4 Footballers take it to penalties!

The Year 4 football team arrived at Harold Wood Primary, ready to take on the competition in their tournament. The boys started with a tough match against St. Mary's, resulting in a 0-0 draw. Despite this, they remained positive and determined to improve.

In their second match against Suttons, the team faced another tough challenge, suffering a defeat. However, this setback gave the boys a chance to regroup and build their confidence. They bounced back strong in their next match, securing a victory against St. Peters, before delivering an impressive 7-0 win against RJ Mitchell.

Throughout the tournament, the team worked hard and displayed great teamwork. Joey, Liam (Kenya), and Ronnie were outstanding up front, scoring some brilliant goals. The midfield trio of Beau, Stanley, and Zion created strong passing opportunities and controlled the game. In defense, Liam (South Africa) and Georgie worked tirelessly to keep the opposition at bay, while Blake and Beau stood firm in goal, making crucial saves to protect their team.

Thanks to their strong performances, the team finished second of their group, earning a place in the semi-finals. In the semi-final match, Joey scored a fantastic goal, bringing the team back into the game and securing a 1-1 draw. Unfortunately, the match was decided by penalties and Clockhouse narrowly lost.

Overall, it was a fantastic tournament for the Year 4 team. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, skill, and determination throughout the day, and should be proud of their efforts. Although they fell short in the semi-finals, their performance was impressive, and they gained valuable experience for future tournaments.

Great job boys!

Fabulous time at Frameless for Year 5

Year 5 had a fantastic time when they visited Frameless (the immersive art experience in London) as part of their learning in Art.

It was an incredible day! Not only did the children get so much out of this from an art perspective, they were so inspired and they had so much fun.

The children were also fabulous Clockhouse Citizens whilst at the exhibition but also whilst travelling on public transport. They were even complemented by the public and the staff at Frameless regarding their manners and politeness.

Well done Year 5!
