The Year 1 Athletics team headed to Hornchurch Sports Centre for a fun-filled afternoon to compete in their very first athletics event. The children were excited and eager to take part in a variety of activities designed to test their running, jumping, throwing, skipping and stepping abilities.
Throughout the event, the children gave their best efforts in each activity, showing great enthusiasm and determination. They cheered each other on, creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Their positive attitudes were evident as they tackled each challenge with a smile and they were thrilled to achieve some very impressive scores along the way.
Overall, the Year 1 team demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. It was a fantastic experience for the children. They should all be proud of their efforts and the progress they made in their first athletics competition.
